CHIROPRACTIC CARE

The 24 spinal vertebrae, plus the occiput and pelvis, are home to the spinal cord, which is the electrical connection between the brain and body. We use a blend of Gonstead, Sacral Occipital Technique, Drop Table, Activator and Diversified methods to perform adjustments. Adjustments are gentle and effective.

  • We adjust your extremities to improve circulation, reduce muscle spasms, and improve oxygenation, strength, and flexibility. Adjustments also help heal or prevent carpal tunnel syndrome, plantar fasciitis, sinus congestion, and jaw tension.

  • Stands for, Quantum Spinal Mechanics, and is an approach to allow the forces of gravity and the compensation of how the body responds, to create a more stable structure. This is a light force technique the provides immediate relief for many.

  • During pregnancy, the ligaments loosen and the pelvis spreads as the fetus develops. To accommodate the additional abdominal load, the low back curves. The mid-back also compensates due to the biomechanical changes. Chiropractic care ensures proper nerve function to both the baby and the mother.

  • We can help your child's development and healing. Labor, delivery and childhood accidents can result in misalignments that impact children even into adulthood. When the limb, cranial, and spinal joints are not moving correctly they cannot send clear signals to the nervous system.   • Dr. Marisa Sum and Dr. Cassie teach complimentary Spinal Care classes two-three times a month to give you the tools you need for successful recovery and maintenance.   • If you need help with your diet and inflammation, we can create the right plan for you. We will assess your current concerns and develop a plan that would give the nutrients needed by your body. We’ll help you learn more about nutrition, lifestyle changes, stress management and exercise.

  • Neuro Emotional Technique (NET) is based on the concept that unresolved emotional trauma is stored in the body. Emotions such as excessive, unresolved anger, grief and fear may long affect us even after we have forgotten the event that caused them. MUSCLE / TISSUE THERAPY

  • We use various soft tissue therapy techniques to help reduce pain and muscle spasm. Some of these techniques include Active Release Technique, massage therapy and trigger point therapy.

  • You have to regain full function and that’s what we’ll help you achieve. We have a results-driven rehabilitation system that will help you regain full flexibility and strength so that you can perform at your best at all times. We have Zaaz Motion therapy machines at the office for patient use. It helps loosen scar tissue, decrease joint inflammation, improves circulation, flexibility and strength, gently.

  • We use Erchonia Cold Laser. This treatment process can help treat low back pain, sprains and neurological conditions. Scientific research proves its benefits in pain relief and decreasing inflammation. It is known for its tissue healing properties while being very gentle.
